This is Essential Reading For Every Medical Doctor and All Involved in the Counselling Profession

By Sandy Shaw

It is not often that I give my self to the serious reading and study of a book which I read and studied a number of years ago, but this book has been worth every moment spent considering its contents.

The title is "None of These Diseases" by S. I. McMillen and David E. Stern. Both men are fully qualified medical doctors with a wide experience. This is Essential Reading For Every Medical Doctor and All Involved in the Counselling Profession

The book is teaching and showing the reader in various practical ways as to how we can avoid and prevent many exceptionally serious diseases and ailments and pains.

It is very readable, with a subtitle "The Bible's Health Secrets for The 21st Century".

Reading and studying this two hundred and seventy page volume could you save you from years of pain and suffering and could save you from perhaps having to spend thousands of pounds and dollars on medications and medical treatments.

It deals with the source of wholeness and how simple procedures, such as careful washing and toileting can keep infection far away. Now, do not dismiss this as being simplistic. There are illustrations of how this has worked over the years.

Physical wholeness and cancer and alcohol and other debilitating illnesses are dealt with, accompanied by useful illustrations and examples of people who have been helped and who have recovered.

The crucial issue of sexual wholeness is given deep and profound examination, with the dangers and consequences of immorality being bluntly spelled out for all to see, as sexually transmitted diseases abound and continue to escalate.

Some fifty pages are devoted to emotional wholeness, and that is certainly a matter which troubles many and has tragic repercussions.

Anger and rage and the mad reactions we reveal are each given full treatment.

Outrageous ambition and greed and selfishness are shown to contribute to many of societies problems as well as the dilemmas which we face as individuals.

Almighty God does not want people to be sick and he has laid down standards and values and protocols which can help us all avoid pain and unnecessary suffering.

Every medical doctor and nurse and psychiatrist, and everyone working in the healing and counselling areas should make this a must read.

This is a very comprehensive book. I plan to re-read it and study it and mark it because there are principles and truths here which I need to remember and pass on to as many people as I can.

If you want a very different type of book to get into, knowing that it is a book that might more than help you in your life and family and business, then this is certainly worth examining.

It is not a novel. There are pages you will want to read and read again, even on a first reading. I am so glad I bought another copy and made the time to read it carefully.

Developing a Vegetarian Mindset & The Health Benefits

By Tyler Elliott
(Book-Reviews/Health-Mind-Body)
Thinking vegetarian can be very difficult among family and friends. Vegetarians tend to get subjected to ongoing religious and unfair arguments that being a carnivore is the normal way to live. I strongly believe that everyone is an individual. The fact is that in order of vegetarianism to become embraced by society those who eat meat have to resist the intellectual,

religious and social pressures and make their own choice. If you feel you are not getting enough support from friends and family you can always join a vegetarian friendly group. You can also get this kind of support from food co-ops or college campuses and even online.

In other countries people are vegetarian by religious faith so they have each other to lean on. They have been taught in their religions not to kill animals. The orient has many dishes that are famous and have absolutely no meat.

There are those vegetarians who are so fanatic that they eat foods right from nature instead of waiting for animals to eat produce and then for them to eat the animals. This is a good choice when you realize that animals have illnesses and can pass them off to consumers in the form of an epidemic. Other people hate the thought of handling any type of flesh and it changes their way of thinking and eating.

Many people have a harder time in digesting meats over fruits, nuts and veggies so they turn to these foods to feel better and healthier. Vegetarians understand that consuming animal products can lead to heart disease, cancer, diabetes, arthritis and osteoporosis. A vegetarian diet can prevent 97%of coronary occlusions.

For the younger generation like college students who struggle with bills and are on a budget, fruits, vegetables and grains is a less expensive alternative to meat. Nowadays, vegetarianism has become a mainstream choice and does not carry the stigma it did in the 60's and 70's. The 21st Century has arrived!

However, when most people go vegetarian they eat a high fat diet adding lots of cheese! Today, even health professionals will tell you that the vegetarian diet is the healthiest way to live. Even the great Dalai Lama has chosen to change his dietary habit and become a vegetarian. He is encouraging all the youth of Tibet to change their diets in order to have peace of mind. This is no small feat for the Dalai Lama now that he is seventy years old!
